If I preload the TComboBox with any items I get the following error when clicking the dropdown button:

Line: 6566

Also, is it possible to make the dropdown behave like to attached Delphi screenshot?
If the window/combo is too close to the bottom of the desktop and there is not enough space to display the list under the edit, you place the list on top of the edit instead.

Never mind the Typemismatch problem.

I use a Mac and WMWare to run a Win7 virtual box. I saved the project in my Shared Folders which is located on the Mac disk. If I moved the project to a folder inside the virtual box then there was no problem with the combo box.

However, it would be nice to have the feature regarding the drop down list.
