Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Glynn,
<< I see what you mean. If I change my "Window text" background to white, the problem doesn't occur. Odd that yours is the only help file I've seen that exhibits this behavior. >> It is. I would think that at least one other help file would have used a custom color for the non-scrolling region at the top. Also, it is very odd that they chose to have WinHelp behave in this manner. Especially considering that they went to the trouble of adding the Use System Colors option in the menu. << Thanks for the thought, but I'll keep my setup the way I have it. I'll just have to live with this oddity, like I live with all the other oddities of that hodge-podge of features known as Windows. >> Well, WinHelp is slowly going away, so it won't be an issue for much longer. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | I've seen several help files use White for a font with a colored background.
White font on Green background was consided the most readable combination over the years. I actually like Tim's color scheme. It's consitant and very readable. And I've not had any issues (although I don't mess around with my color schemes, especially on my dev machine) Lance "Glynn Owen" <glynnMowenREMOVE@hotmail.comDELETE> wrote in message news:449731D1-A61C-4351-BD75-CAF3E15E0949@news.elevatesoft.com... > Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: > >> Glynn, >> >> << The headers on your help file are white text.
