Some of our customers have reported the following error
“#11282 A connection to the database server at ‘x.x.x.x’ cannot be established, the maximum number of server or user connections has been reached” on DBISAM V4.24
All the connections are made with the same username and password.
We have changed the Max # of connections in the server admin console and restarted the server to no avail.

Questions:
1.   What are the max number of connections that DBISAM can handle?
2.   Where can I change the max number of user connections?

You failed to state whether you are running the trial version or fully
licensed versin of DBISAM. I believe the trial version has lower limits
than the fully licensed version (I don't recall what they are since I
have always had the licensed versions of DBISAM).

However, to answer your questions...

65,535 licensed connectons

You can specify that a maximum number of licensed connections be used
for the database server by modifying the TDBISAMEngine
ServerLicensedConnections property.

Jsut to add that in addition to trial versions any non-C/S version of
the DBISAM has a 5 connection server also. (i.e. VCL Standard). So even
if you have bought dbisam you might have a 5 connection limited server.
