Thread OT: DelphiSpeedUp Warning....

After installing Delphi Speed Up, I noticed that my TDBISAMEngine component
would not let me change the Active Property to TRUE.

I uninstall DelphiSpeedUp and I can change this property just fine.

Not sure of implication.. Just FYI

Thanks
Clive.

Clive,

Checked it here, repeatedly.  I can't reproduce that error on my machine.  Are you using
BDS2006 with update 2?

I have zero issues.  And everything is just so much faster.  I wonder why I'm the only one
seeing these improvements?

Hey! I have the same problem! I've been racking my brains trying to
figure out why I can't get my engine going! It works at runtime, but
design time is a no go. It happened right after I installed Delphi
speedup too.

Hmmmmm.....what to do?

Regards,

Jason Lee

Version 169 is now available and I loaded it with D7 and v330 of DBISAM and
all is working great!

RE DelphiSpeedUp 1.69.  It breaks pretty much everything in D7/BDS2006 for me.  Simple
test, double-click on a form to add an OnCreate event - bang! There you go.  Now add a
TEdit to the form and hit F9 - bang again!

V1.65 is super great for me.  Think I'll stick with it till they get this sorted.

Interesting... all of that works for me....

I'm happy at the speed benefit.
