OT: DelphiSpeedUp Warning.... |
Tue, May 2 2006 5:01 PM | Permanent Link |
"Clive" | After installing Delphi Speed Up, I noticed that my TDBISAMEngine component
would not let me change the Active Property to TRUE. I uninstall DelphiSpeedUp and I can change this property just fine. Not sure of implication.. Just FYI Thanks Clive. |

Graham Wood | Clive,
Checked it here, repeatedly. I can't reproduce that error on my machine. Are you using BDS2006 with update 2? I have zero issues. And everything is just so much faster. I wonder why I'm the only one seeing these improvements? Jason Lee | Hey! I have the same problem! I've been racking my brains trying to
figure out why I can't get my engine going! It works at runtime, but design time is a no go. It happened right after I installed Delphi speedup too. Hmmmmm.....what to do? Regards, Jason Lee Clive wrote: > After installing Delphi Speed Up, I noticed that my TDBISAMEngine component > would not let me change the Active Property to TRUE. > > I uninstall DelphiSpeedUp and I can change this property just fine. > > Not sure of implication.. "Walter Matte" | Version 169 is now available and I loaded it with D7 and v330 of DBISAM and
all is working great! Walter "Jason Lee" <computerguy@wavecable.com> wrote in message news:FA70A7FA-F393-4EB2-B295-0CF766407E27@news.elevatesoft.com... > Hey! I have the same problem! Graham Wood | RE DelphiSpeedUp 1.69. It breaks pretty much everything in D7/BDS2006 for me. Simple
test, double-click on a form to add an OnCreate event - bang! There you go. Now add a TEdit to the form and hit F9 - bang again! V1.65 is super great for me. Think I'll stick with it till they get this sorted. <<"Walter Matte" <walter_@_interlog.com> wrote: D7 Ent - with lots of packages installed - 80 seconds to load With DelphiSpeedUp 1.69 - 30 seconds to load |
