Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | Can anyone tell me how I can share the c drive as a whole? I've set it to sharing but still get access denied. I can share individual folder, but on this my home network I just want to share the drive. Any guru's out there?

I have vista home ultimate on my home server. Renaming a file and moving it to another directory takes a full minute (to the second) and uses 50% cpu (core 2 duo). File deletes take a full 30 seconds. I had to sync two 100g drives which involved thousands of file deletes. It took 3 days to complete. Windows Media Player only plays audio from video files. It's a horrible, horrible OS release. I'm spending this weekend wiping it from the hard disk and changing to xp pro. Jim Margarit |

Charalabos Michael | Hello Jim,

Oh good. That's so "obvious" from the interface. Thanks. Roy Lambert |
