Locate Statement doesn't work - V3.30 DBISAM |

Alex Vastich | Hi,
I know we're going back V3.30 but an issue seems to have reared its head that doesn't appear to have been an issue in the past (we would know because it is potentially very serious). The result is that a record Locate statement using TTable does not return a result even though it should but only under the following circumstances: * Running in client-server mode * TTable has an Indexname set * TTable Filtered is True * A TTable ONRecordFilter call is present. Under this scenario, when performing a Locate statement on the TTable, the Locate fails. Does anyone still on V3 or from past experiences remeber this as being an issue and/or found a resolution? Seems unusual that it only affects client/server mode. Regards Alex |

If you want to email me with a sample project (including tables), I can possibly give you a source code fix. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
