New logos and colours (Rita Biritish spelling) are excellent. But I see we need to authenticate to use NG's? Walter (Canadian) |

I WAS THAT CUSTOMER <VBG> >But I see we need to authenticate to use NG's? Only to post which I think is fair. But can the login bit be a little larger please? I hate the sites where it seems an afterthought. I especially like the new DBISAM logo. Who designed it? Roy Lambert |

<< New logos and colours (Rita Biritish spelling) are excellent. >> Thanks. << But I see we need to authenticate to use NG's? >> Yes. I'll be sending out an email shortly about this, but for now there's a blog entry explaining some of the changes: http://www.elevatesoft.com/blog?action=view&id=welcome_to_the_new_elevate_software_web_site -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Only to post which I think is fair. But can the login bit be a little larger please? I hate the sites where it seems an afterthought. >> Are you saying that the login edit fields aren't big enough ? << I especially like the new DBISAM logo. Who designed it? >> It was a collaborative effort between Sam, myself, and my son Ben, who's quite the artist and has a good eye for these things. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Sorry - I misunderstood now I've seen I need to logon using my offline reader as well. >> Yes, but just to post also. If you won't want/need to post, then you don't need to authenticate. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

><< Only to post which I think is fair. But can the login bit be a little >larger please? I hate the sites where it seems an afterthought. >> > >Are you saying that the login edit fields aren't big enough ? No but that the fat little chappie and the word login should be bigger. One of the worst examples is www.linkedin.com. Its a LOT easier to spot the new user bit than the sign in bit. It looks as though there's a separate css file since I can't spot any of the class definitions so my suggestion would be one font size higher and bold just to make it a bit more obvious. Also whilst looking at the html source I noticed a load of <span> </span>. Are they doing anything apart from consuming bandwidth? ><< I especially like the new DBISAM logo. Let me guess - you supplied the D and the B (maybe the isam as well) and they supplied the rest Roy Lambert |

<< No but that the fat little chappie and the word login should be bigger. >> Hmm, I'll have to think about that. I hear what you're saying, though. << Also whilst looking at the html source I noticed a load of <span> </span>. Are they doing anything apart from consuming bandwidth? >> I'll double-check, but there shouldn't be any spans unless the span is using an actual class. << Let me guess - you supplied the D and the B (maybe the isam as well) and they supplied the rest >> Something like that. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Malcolm Taylor | Hi Tim
Do you have a new 'built with' logo or range thereof that we can pop into our About boxes in order to 'big you up'? Malcolm |
