Error 11013 When Opening Table With DBSYS |

Frederick Chin | I am using DBISAM 4.26b3.
I have a client who is using XP Home on a network of around 12 computers. Last month, an application was installed there on a "server" and a "client" could access the tables. This month, the client could not access the files. An error 11013 popped up. Even using DBSYS resulted in the same error. I have checked the folder sharing settings at the the server and it looks OK. The server's firewall is disabled while the client's firewall allows file and print sharing. An AVG anti-virus is running but it should not affect the opening of tables. When I copy the contents of the entire folder and drop it into the client, the tables are opened fine. Is this a problem related to the 5 connection limit of XP Home? If it is, did Microsoft slipped in the block this month since it was working fine the previous month? Thanks for your input. Frederick |

Frederick Chin | Frans and Tim,
>Check out the link that Frans indicated - this is a common issue with XP >Home once you have altered a table. Indeed there was a restructure of that particular table at the "server". Since the updated table inherited a non-shareable property, do I select that particular table, its index and its blob files and set the security settings for Full Control? Thanks. Frederick |

Frederick Chin | Tim,
>Yes, that should resolve the issue. Thanks. I was practically pulling my hair to try to resolve the issue the last few weeks. Frederick |
