Hi Tim,

We are currently use DBISAM V3.24. I can’t start DBISAM server (service) in Windows 2003 with SP2. Any ideas?

Sachith,

I don't have v3 installed any more, so I can't test, but are you sure
that "system" account has permissions to read and write in the directory
where the server is AND the directory the server uses for temporary files?

Hi Fernando,

Local System Account is system account which have all the rights do what ever within that machine. Its not something I have created. We have
registered and start DBISAM Service in Window Server 2003 without an issue. But latest SP2 upgrade to server does not allow me to start
DBISAM Server.

If I try to start with user account I have created with administrator rights, system allow me.

Thank you,
Regards,
Sachith

You should try un-registering the service and then re-registering it.  The
SP2 upgrade may have hosed up some things or changed the security tokens in
a way that causes the service startup to fail.

I installed DBISAM server after the server was build with SP2
