Coming Up This Week with DBISAM and ElevateDB |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Just a quick note to let everyone in on what's going on this week.
I spent the last 5 days working hard on refactoring our internal test, build, and document generation systems so that the builds can be done a lot faster than before. This was necessary once it was clear that cutting out older compiler versions was out of the question. The systems are now working much faster and should allow for a much faster turnaround on new builds. Right now we're coming out with a new minor version or build every month to month and a half, and that's just too long between fixes. Also, you'll notice that the online manuals on the web site have changed URLs now and that they now are served up dynamically. This means that all prior links to the online manuals here on the newsgroups will not be working for the time being until I get a chance to have a program run through the newsgroups and update them. However, the good news is that this means that the online manuals will soon have a full text search facility so that you can search them online. Finally, a new build 8 for DBISAM 4.25 and a new build 2 for ElevateDB 1.07 will be out by Friday. My apologies for the long wait on the DBISAM build. It really got held up by the 1.07 release of EDB and all of the new .Net support. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
