DbisamMM or FastMM? |

"Hedley Muscroft" | Hi,
A quick question please! I am coding my own small DBISAM Server application in Delphi 7 for my .NET application(s) to connect to (using ContextSoft's ADO.NET provider). I notice that the latest version of FastMM is now 4.78. Would it be best to use DbisamMM or FastMM as the memory manager in the D7 server app, or does it make no difference? Many thanks! Since I change my own dbisam server to use FastMM, a lot of troubles disappear. In many threads Tim recommends to change default DBISAM memory manager to FastMM and I think the new ElevateDB uses FastMM as default memory manager. Eduardo |

I'll probably be stripping out the dbisammm memory manager from DBISAM shortly in favor of FastMM. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
