"Adam H." | Hi Tim,
Just wanted to give you some feedback on this. Recently, I have purchased a new laptop computer, and have upgraded from D7 to D2007. After rebuilding my application, and distributing it back to this location, they no longer appear to be having this Error. There were a number of changes from my original system (including removing some component libraries such as the RxLib) which were used for older Legacy programs (which I now support with a VMWare machine running XP and Delphi 7 still), as well as an update to EurekaLog. Whatever the case - apparently moving to a new machine, with a new IDE and some changes to the component suite - the problem now seems to have dissapeared. I can only guess that there was something possibly within my previous IDE configuration that was causing these anomolies when the network/processor was put under a high workload. Either way - I just wanted to report back to you my findings so far on this issue (even though I can't be clear on exactily what has fixed the issue). Those in the same location still running an earlier version (built on old notebook) still have the problems. Best Regards Adam |

<< Those in the same location still running an earlier version (built on old notebook) still have the problems. >> Were you re-compiling the DBISAM source code at any point during the older builds ? It could be a compiler settings issue with the compression. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
