<<Are you still using 3.24 ? If so, then you need to at least update to 3.30 to ensure that you're not seeing a bug that has already been fixed.>> We are still using 3.24 and recently took 4.25 but it will take time to migrate whole app to 4.25. Can I use latest DBISAM Server with 3.24 tables and VCL components? |

However, there is a fix for the 3.30 version that you need in order to avoid another issue that was reported after 3.x was frozen. Contact me via email and I will send you a 3.30 server that has the latest fix compiled in. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< What's the issue? Can you also send me an updated server executable? >> There's a possible index corruption error that can occur during reads. And yes, see my reply to your email. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Hi Tim, I have sent you a mail, please send me 3.30 server. Tim, currently I’m facing a anther issue related to DBISAM server which is “General lock failure”. I have 2 environment set up for application testing. (Environment A and B) In A application works fine without any issues (Client Server with Citrix). In B performance is very low it take 5 min to finished normal query which take 30 sec in other. If you close the application forcefully next time onward, I’m getting general lock failure. Can you please assist me Regards, Sachith Sachith, << We are still using 3.24 and recently took 4.25 but it will take time to migrate whole app to 4.25. I have now received the file. The version of the server you sent 3.27.1.1, we are currently running on 3.30.1.1 So is it ok to use the new server you sent me? Thanks Stu |

<< The version of the server you sent 3.27.1.1, we are currently running on 3.30.1.1 So is it ok to use the new server you sent me? >> The version information is just a little out of date due to the manual build and the actual server is running 3.30, so just ignore the version information being displayed. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
