<< One of the reason they are restarting the server is because it keeps crashing. I have posted an ecserver.log file on the binaries news group. This is happing at a number of sites, of which we are getting ready to loose 2 of them because of this. >> Sorry if I already asked this, but did you modify the database server at all, or did you just rename the .exe ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Yes it is modified, I added a couple of triggers and a web server to sync files. I have emailed you the source code to timyoung@elevatesoft.com, it is called Exitcare Server.zip -- |

So do you have any idea why we keep getting the AV from the Data Engine? We have a site that is really breathing down our neck about it. -- |

<< So do you have any idea why we keep getting the AV from the Data Engine? We have a site that is really breathing down our neck about it. >> If I did, it would be fixed. I'm at a loss right now to explain any AV in the engine. We don't get them here with our production database server, and it's not something that happens at every site. Does the source code that you sent me for the database server correspond to the logs that you sent ? If so, then I can try and reconcile the AV address back to the source line. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

"Bern Rudisill" | Yes the version should be the same as for the logs I sent you. I have
another log if that would help also. BTW you will need ICS to compile for the web server stuff. -- |

<< Nope default BDS2006 Memory Manager >> Actually, you're using the DBISAM memory manager in the database server. However, that shouldn't be an issue, of course. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
