shewj | Hi
I am going to modify some dat file (Version 1.08) , the use of " dbisam additional software and utilities 4.17 " can open it only after upgrade to v4,when i modify completed the original application open failed with the message"DBISAM Engine Error # 12035 The table 'xxxxxx' is not the correct version". I do believe similar issue reported in this forum as below URL as well : http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=dbisam&id=dbisam_general&msg=66146&page=1#66146 Is it any DBISAM-ADD - Version 1.08 that I can download ? I've tried to send a email to support@elevatesoft.com, any guidance with this would be greatly appreciated. |

From that it seems that you're wanting to change the table structure and for the application to still keep running V1.08. Upgrading the table in DBSys to V4.17 means that the table can no longer be read in an application that uses V1.08 because there have been several fundamental changes to the structure of the tables. Contacting ElevateSoft and asking for a copy of the earlier utilities is probably the best approach. If you have access to the DBISAM components used to create the application you could reasonably easily create a small program to make the necessary changes to the structure yourself. Roy Lambert |

shewj | Hi Roy,
it seems easier that asking for a copy of the earlier utilities, because V1.08 of the tables I have backups and it is a little difficult for me to access the DBISAM components used to create the application. Thanks for the advice. |
