Mark Drengson | OK, now that we've got the ODBC driver installed and working (v3.30),
our customer is wondering about using it remotely thru the DBISAM server. My question is: Since our client products work thru an ASTA/DBISAM server, we don't use DBISAM client-server. so is it safe/reliable to use the DBISAM server for remote ODBC access concurrently with our clients using the ASTA server on the same (v3.30) data tables?? Should I restrict their access to Read-only?? and if that configuration is ok, is it correct that they can have up to 5 remote odbc users with the included dbserver, but if they need more than 5 users, then they would need the DBISAM-ODBC-CS product? Thanks!
