Jason Lee | V4 does not support stored procedures, but instead has server-side
procedures. ElevateDB (EDB) will support stored procedures, it is nearly ready for beta testing. Regards -- Jason Lee Stu Brown wrote: > Hi, > > Does anyone no if DBISAM 4 supports stored procedures, or are they the same as server-side procedures? > > Thanks. > > Stu. > |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Stu,
<< Does anyone no if DBISAM 4 supports stored procedures, or are they the same as server-side procedures? >> Jason is correct - stored procedures in DBISAM 4 are the same as server-side procedures, i.e. they are Delphi code-based and compiled into the database server. ElevateDB will have true stored procedures that are stored in the database catalog. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
