BeforeUpdateTrigger |

"Eric Schwarz" | I just tried implementing a BeforeUpdateTrigger event and it doesn't fire.
Is there something I need to do besides just dropping an engine component on my DataModule and defining the event? D7/4.19 |

D7/4.19 Local access or C/S? For C/S, you have to set the event in the db server. Well, that's what I remember Ralf |

<< I just tried implementing a BeforeUpdateTrigger event and it doesn't fire. Is there something I need to do besides just dropping an engine component on my DataModule and defining the event? D7/4.19 >> As Ralf asked, is this C/S or local access only ? If it is C/S, then the trigger needs to be defined in the database server itself. You can find the source code to the database server in the \servers\dbsrvr subdirectory under the main installation directory of DBISAM. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
