Subscribe to borland.public.delphi.ide.general and look through the postings there. I'm pretty sure I've seen others with a similar problem. Roy Lambert |

"Fons Neelen" | Jon,
Sorry, you are right. It was just that I thought it would explain my problem clearer. After many hours re-installing Delphi, .NET etc etc I was beginning to get really frustated. Anyway, because nothing helped and I could not find an answer on the Internet, I just reformatted my entire drive and installed Win XP from scratch. Which ofcours took a while and I just installed XanaNews to see any replies from my message. I did install Delphi just yet, but will be soon. And after each and every step I wil make a complete image of my C drive to my second drive. And will repeat this for any component I will install. If I am able to find how or why it messed up the help I will post a new message (without any attachment!). Again, sorry. Regards, Fons Jon Lloyd Duerdoth wrote: > Fons, > > I'm sorry to have to grumble but please don't have attachments here... > use the binaries NG... "Fons Neelen" | Roy,
I did, but their solutions unfortunately did not work for me. See my reply to Jon for the rest of the story... Just thought - if you're retired who cares about the download speed - you've got plenty of time. At least until you reach the next stage - death - and then you've got even more time, but the internet connections are lousy or so I've been told. Roy Lambert |
