Marian Pascalau | Hi there,
I was wondering way you are not providind a merge module for installation of DBISAM ODBC Driver with windows installer. Will you provide in future a Package for the creation of MSI based installations? Or maybe you can suggest where can I find support for ODBC driver installation from withing a MSI package? Kind Regards, Marian |

Marian Pascalau | Hi Tim
thank you very much for your response. Because I have had implemented the solution like your recommendation I did not came back till today to see your response. Actually I was thinking once your company provide an ODBC driver that it will provide Merge Modules for MSI installations. The reason why you was simple: experience and proper know-how, and for me to do this task was more than take your suggestion for granted. Well, based on your recommendation it works without problems. Thank you, Marian "Tim Young [Elevate Software]" <timyoung@elevatesoft.com> wrote: Marian, I just posted a message regarding the registry keys required during installation: http://www.elevatesoft.com/scripts/newsgrp.dll?action=openmsg&group=14&msg=1301&page=1#msg1301 You simply need to install the DLL into a folder of your choosing and set up the registry keys accordingly. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
