Altering table structure time saver |

Uli Becker | Hi,
a timesaver in EDBManager (especially when experimenting with a new database) would be to check if there is an exclusive access to a table BEFORE making changes to it. Since the AlterTable-dialog e.g. is modal you have no chance to close any result-sets that prevent the exclusive access without leaving the dialog. So you have to close the dialog, confirm that you really want to cancel your changes and restart the whole thing. Regards Uli |

Good idea. I'd suggest check first and offer the option of proceeding (the other user may not be EDBManager) Roy Lambert |
