Back to LIMIT
May it be possible to implement LIMIT, but throw an exception whenever it is used and no index fits it ?
In my ADO.NET testing, a simple 7000 rows 4MB adress table took 7 seconds to load into a dataset (on LAN!), so pagination is an absolute must. If I understanded it correctly,
in the current EDB I have to create a temporary table and count rows for that task...that may work, but will greatly increase the amount of code I have to write. I think just
creating the indexes I need and use LIMIT would save a lot of time.
