Hi Erick, << ....I don't think any of the code examples are overtly Canadian, I used 'Merican spelling so as to not confuse people, and there is no mention of billions (which is 1,000,000,000 to Americans and.... >> >When I first read that line my brain interpreted it is as 'Mexican' spelling. I thought to myself "well I don't know what that is but it should be interesting". And then I reread it. LOL. This summer I was in New Brunswick, the only officially bilingual province of Canada and I overheard some people who commented on how the signs are in half French and half American. It never occurred to them that the language is 'English'. Actually, half the sales of this book so far have been European + UK. When writing books I try to be very clear because many people are reading in something other than their first language, but also many have superior grammar. Sometimes the Venn diagram of those people is not what you might first expect. Erick |

alexza | Erick,
just got my 2nd edition. I noticed that page 221 misses a sentence, like in 1st ed.; it reads "...Set its onload to" instead of "Set its onload to Script1Load and its URL to https://www.gstatic.com/charts/loader.js". Thanks for your work. alex |

Drats, a mistake. Thanks for reporting it. > Thanks for your work. Thanks for appreciating it. Erick |

Robert Horbury-Smith | Mine arrived in "Edison, NJ, US" on 15'th Sept - where it apparently barricaded itself in it's room and is still refusing to come out. So, 8 days since ordering and they haven't yet stuck it in the rowboat bound for Australia < groan >.
