# 202 Changing an Index Field Involved in a Master Detail Link Causes Invalid Records to Show

I found a small master detail problem when testing my RI components. First I thought my components caused it, but then I could duplicate it with your standard components (version 1.03).

There is a small test app attached. Run it, then go first to the master grid, make CustNo 1351 the current record. Then go to the detail grid (the lower one) and try to update the CustNo of Order 1152 from 1351 to 1231. Post the change by clicking on the navigator's post button. You will now see detail records for master record 1231 - which you should not. Scrolling down the detail grid, you will also see the correct detail records for master 1351. Scrolling back up, the wrong detail records are gone and everything is OK.
