# 271 Non-Optimized Filters Not Handling NULL or Empty String Field Comparisons Properly

I simply use your DBISAM Database System Utility, Set the filter with the expression : Sampling <> '',
And the table always display record with empty Sampling field.

Problem was with un-optimized filters not handling NULL string comparisons properly.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 2/1/1999 in version 1.10 build 1
