# 589 Records Not Being Unlocked Properly If Record Is Still Locked During a Transaction Commit

There is a problem editing a previously edited record after a transaction. If you start a transaction in the BeforePost event handler and commit the transaction in the AfterPost event handler, then after this post, you won't be able to edit on the same record without getting an #10258 error.
