# 604 SQL UPDATE Statement Causing Record to be Updated for Every Column in UPDATE Columns List
An SQL UPDATE statement that updates more than one column results in the DBISAM engine updating each record multiple times (the same number as the number of columns being updated).

This error manifests itself with an incorrect RowsAffected property result and with the possibility of an # 8708 DBISAM engine error message.
