# 712 Using Suppression of AutoInc Values and Editing AutoInc Values Causes Error on Delete of Same Record

There is a problem in 2.06 with AutoInc Fields. Try this steps in DBsys:

1. Open a Table with an AutoInc Field as an Index.
2. Set the "Supress Auto-Increment Values" Checkbox in DBSys to True.
3. Change the AutoInc Value in one of the records to a new value and save
tha changes
4. Now select again this changed record and press the delete button.

Now you get an error "#8965 Index page buffers corrupt in table XY".
