# 869 Optimizing a Table Will Reset the Last Auto Inc Value for the Table

Both the DBSYS Optimize option and the native OptimizeTable method resets the LastAutoIncValue. I believe V2 worked the same way.

Fixed Problem on 9/14/2001 in version 3.02 build 1
