# 901Database Server Reports Wrong Error Message when Database Directory Cannot Be Created I'm getting the following error:
DBISAM_REMOTEDUPDB (11295) The database '<DatabaseName>' already exists on the database server at '<RemoteName>'
when adding a brand new database to my server. No matter what I change the name to, I get the same error.
Comments and WorkaroundsProblem was with operating system rights to create the database directory on the server. Version 3.02 included the change that causes the server to attempt to create the database directory when a database is added, but the error message that was being reported was incorrect and gave the indication that the database already existed when it didn't.
ResolutionFixed Problem on 10/4/2001 in version 3.03 build 1
