# 987 Dead Server Sessions are Possibly Getting Removed Prematurely When Maximum Dead Sessions Reached

There is a possibility that dead server sessions could get removed prematurely when the maximum number of dead sessions setting is reached on the server. This is due to the server deleting dead sessions incorrectly.

Comments and Workarounds

The workaround is to set the maximum number of dead sessions higher and the dead session expiration time lower.
