# 1508 Using the Locate Method with a Range Set on a TDBISAMTable Component Can Cause Incorrect Results

Using the TDBISAMTable Locate method with a range set could possibly cause a situation where the Locate returns False even though the record should be able to be found with the given search criteria.

Comments

This fix removes the optimization originally described in incident #1493.

Fixed Problem on 1/18/2004 in version 4.02 build 1
