# 1858 Cannot Edit or View Compression on Plain BLOB Fields in DBSYS Utility

If I use the Alter Table menu option under DBSYS it will not let me change the compression level of a blob field. In fact, fields that
were created with compression shows none under the alter table option.

Comments

Works with Memo or Graphic types, but not plain BLOB types.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 10/7/2004 in version 4.13 build 1
