# 2056 ODBC Driver Not Retrieving Values from Large String Fields Correctly Using ODBC.NET Data Provider

If I call GetString(GetOrdinal('descriptionnotes')) on a field type string size > 200 then the result is not correct. Field in DBISAM is String 255 and viewing data in Database System Utility.

Creating: Students improvise dance in free play and directed activities, using the elements of dance (BEST: Body, Energy, Space and Time), in an unstructured, spontaneous way. They draw on ideas from their real and imaginary worlds.Interpreting: Students

After retrieving it from the database it comes out like:

Creating: Students improvise dance in free play and directed activities, using the elements of dance (BEST: Body, Energy, Space and Time), in an unstructured, spontaneous way.
