# 3202 Trying to Remove a Disconnected Session with Open Tables Causes Invalid Pointer Operation

We have moved from 4.27.4 to 4.29.3 and there is a change in the removal of disconnected sessions. We are getting a disconnect error on every removal now.

The disconnect below was performed with the Server Administration Utility.

Error - Type: Disconnect IP Client = 192.168.50.21 - ClientRequest: 0 -ClientRequestName: REQUEST_CONNECTPARAMS - ClientThread: 0 - Text: Internal error removing session [Invalid pointer operation]

Comments

This issue was caused by some earlier code cleanup in 4.29 to make the dead session removal more durable.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 5/13/2010 in version 4.29 build 4
