# 3400 Next and Prior Calls Can Experience an AV During Heavy Multi-User Usage

My client is geting access violation at address 005D5645 with read of address 0000017A during inserting/Appending a new record. This problem occurs several times a day.

Comments Comments
The InitRecord AV was not the actual source of the problem, which was actually calls to Next and Prior to navigate off of the current record. In certain specific situations, DBISAM would trigger an AV which would subsequently destabilize the engine memory and cause cascading failures like the AV in the InitRecord call.
