# 4582 64-bit Components for RAD Studio XE8 Incorrectly Updating 32-bit Library Search Paths

RAD Studio XE8 DBISAM 4.44 build 3 installation mixes up library folders or .dcus because after installing an trying to compile a previosly working 32-bit windows project gives error message:

"[dcc32 Fatal Error] ParsaaSKAnnos.dpr(6): F2048 Bad unit format: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\DBISAM 4 VCL-CS\RAD Studio XE8 (Delphi Win64)\code\dbisamtb.dcu' - Expected version: 29.0, Windows Unicode(x86) Found version: 29.0, Windows Unicode(x64)"

After returning to DBIsam version 4.44. build 2 everything works fine.

Comments and Workarounds

The workaround was to correct the library search paths after installation of the 64-bit VCL components.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 10/28/2017 in version 4.45 build 1
