# 4617 Custom Engine Signatures Not Working Properly with the ODBC Driver

I am finally getting around to trying to use the ODBC driver for a project and am running into a problem right out of the gate. I am getting an error trying to create an ODBC connection to a server on my local machine and getting this error during the configuration wizard:

DBISAM Engine Error #11276 The connection to the database server at '127.0.0.1' has been lost

The server is using a custom signature, but is up and running and I'm able to connect to it using other apps. The IP address and port are correct.

The ODBC driver configuration wizard wasn't using the customized driver settings that were configured using the ODBC Driver Configuration Utility, so it wasn't be able to connect to a DBISAM Database Server with a custom engine signature.

Fixed Problem on 2/15/2018 in version 4.45 build 1
