# 2272 Using the CONTAINS or DOES NOT CONTAIN Operators on Non-Text-Indexed Column Is Ignored

Instead of raising an error, the CONTAINS or DOES NOT CONTAIN text index operators simply return False when used against a column that does not have a text index available for the search.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 3/15/2007 in version 1.02 build 1
