# 3383 Duplicate Users Can Appear in the ElevateDB Manager When Renaming a User

I was just messing around in the DB Manager learning how to work with users and somehow I was able to create two users with the same name ("D"). I also have two "System" users in there.

I think I created the extra "D" user by messing around with the rename command. Specifically:

Click on the Users node in the left panel.

Right-click on the user "D" in the list of users on the Right panel and select Rename.

Enter a new name and hit enter.

The problem was caused by a bug in the treeview node renaming.
