# 3385 Altering a Foreign Key Column Via ALTER TABLE Can Cause #601 Corruption Error

The following SQL script causes a reproducible 601 error. I’m running 2.05 Build 3 Unicode.

Open the database in EDB Manager and run the fast Verify Table function first so that you can see that the table verifies as good. Run the script against the database and then run the fast Verify Table function again and you should see a 601 error.
