# 3430 Ctrl+N Shortcut Keys Causing Deletion of Selected Text in ElevateDB Manager SQL Editor

This happens since a long time in edbmgr. now i definititely can reproduce it. I was wondering why some text was gone in my statements. I only use the keyboard. If i select some text from one statement in edbmgr and copy it with strg+c. Then i hit strg+n to open a new statement and paste it with strg+v. Now the text is gone in the first statement.
