# 3447 Breaking Up Multi-Word SQL Statement Keywords Can Cause SQL Execution to Not Occur

In the EDB Manager, if you type

VERIFY TABLE ELN

its fine. If you type

VERIFY
TABLE ELN

or
VERIFY
TABLE
ELN

nothing happens. I discovered it because I misspressed the return button.

Comments Comments
This now raises an error. The problem is that the statement selection logic is line-based, and requires that multiple keywords that make up a given SQL statement like VERIFY TABLE or REPAIR TABLE occur on the same line so that the statement can be properly identified and selected.
