# 3467 Dropping a User with Granted Database Privileges Can Cause Error

I tried to delete a user in the EDB Manager - was told it was in use by database NLH:

The user <User> in the configuration EDBConfig cannot be dropped because it is still referenced by the database NLH

Comments Comments and Workarounds
Such database privileges should have been automatically dropped when the user was dropped. The workaround was to manually revoke the privileges that were granted.
