# 3514 Backing up a Database Including Catalog with 2.06 B1 and then Restoring with Same Build Causes Error

If you back up a database, including the catalog, using 2.06 B1, and then restore the database, again including the catalog, using 2.06 B1, then you will see the following error:

ElevateDB Error #100 'The object has been updated by a newer version of the engine'

Comments Comments and Workarounds
The workaround is to only restore the table files for the database, and not the catalog.

In general, it is important that you make a current backup using 2.06 B2 and do not use the 2.06 B1 backups unless absolutely necessary, and then only restore the table data without the database catalog.
