# 3955 Trying to Set a Range on an Index Containing a Computed Column Can Cause AV

If I execute a TedbTable.SetRange on 3 fields of a compound index where one of the fields (3rd field) is a computed column, edbsrvr.exe throws an AV 99999. I changed the computed column to a generated column and the SetRange works fine. It took me quite a while to find the source of the problem because the error message didn't provide any useful information.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 11/23/2013 in version 2.15 build 1
