# 4004 Unicode External Modules Being Compiled with an Incorrect Character Set

We have not yet been able to resolve the issue with the external module character set being of the wrong kind, even though I use {$DEFINE EDB_UNICODE} in the EM project file...

Server and database are Unicode as far as I can tell: CharacterSet is set to csUnicode for both the Engine and Session components, and CatalogCharacterSet for the database says "Unicode" when I do a "SELECT * FROM databases" in the ElevateDB Manager.
