# 4372 Unicode Tables Reporting Trunction Errors When Edited Using Microsoft Access

The ODBC driver works perfectly in Access. I don’t need to do any further testing there. But there are issues with truncation of fields that should be okay. Some ElevateDB varchar(50) fields are not accepting 50 chrs – more like 15.

Comments Comments
The issue was with an internal workaround in the ODBC driver's SQLBindParameter function that caused a side-effect that resulted in parameters being sized too small for Unicode string buffers.
