# 4525 Advantage Database Server Migrator Causes Error During Migrator Creation in ElevateDB Manager

I have installed the EDB Manager 2.25 Build 5 on a client PC. When I tried to Create the Migrators I got following exception:

ElevateDB Error #202 An error occurred with the module edbmigrateads (The module C:\Program Files\ElevateDB 2 ADD\libs\edbmigrateads\unicode\win32\edbmigrateads.dll does not exist)

Comments

The issue was with the fact that the Advantage Database Server components were being statically-bound to the Advantage client engine DLLs at compile-time. Therefore, if the DLLs did not exist on the target machine, then you would see this exception when trying to create the database migrators in the ElevateDB Manager.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 5/11/2017 in version 2.26 build 1
